Similar to any form of travel vehicle, airlines have a list of violations that passengers commonly break when they’re in flight. While many passengers fear for their safety and the tight scheduling of the flight, some could commit a few violations in the process, like the following.
1. Shouting to Skip the Air Crash Safety Guide
Before the flight, flight attendants will give passengers a briefing about what to do in case the airline is imminently stalled and is about to crash. Some passengers shout at the flight attendants to stop the briefing, with most violators stating that it increases their anxiety in-flight.
2. Oversized Luggage on Board
Airlines could be very specific about the size of hand-carry luggage you could bring with you to the passenger area. However, some passengers request that they drag oversized luggage as a way to save up on luggage fees. This hassles the flight attendants to find space for the luggage or could possibly cause delays for other passengers.
3. Electronic Devices
The use of cellphones and electronic devices are not allowed during the flights. This is because the devices could interfere with the pilots communication devices. However, some passengers try to retain their electronic device usage. Remember that every time you use these devices, you put your life and the lives of others at risk.
4. Disembarking
Some passengers stand up and start to collect their hand-carry belongings even if the plane has not yet reached a full stop. Passengers could actually have their belongings fall on someone’s head or any part of their body. Cooperation and patience is very important during the disembarking stage, unless you want to be banned from using the airlines.
